Time Doctor Billing Policies

TL;DR:

Time Doctor offers a 14-day free trial. After that, billing occurs in advance for the next 30 days. A seven-day grace period is provided for missed payments. Accounts are suspended after this grace period but data remains intact. Refunds can be requested within 30 days of payment.

Initial Free Trial

All new accounts begin with a 14-day free trial period. During this time, full access to all features is available at no cost.

Billing Cycle and Payment Schedule

Time Doctor bills in advance, meaning the charge applies to the upcoming 30-day period after the billing due date.

A valid payment method must be added to the Billing page before the trial ends to avoid interruptions in service.

Missed Payments and Grace Period

If a payment fails—due to a declined transaction or another issue—a seven-day grace period is granted.

Within this grace period:

  • Update the payment method on the Billing page.

  • Or contact support@timedoctor.com to re-authorize the payment.

After the grace period:

  • The account is suspended.

  • Access to the Time Doctor web dashboard is revoked.

  • All user data remains saved on Time Doctor’s servers.

  • Users can still track time, even while the account is suspended.

Billing Cycle Consistency

Late payments do not change the billing cycle. Regardless of when payment is made, the original billing due date remains unchanged.

To request an extension beyond the seven-day grace period, contact the support team.

Refund Policy

If unsatisfied with the service, request a refund within 30 days of the billing date. The support team will either process a refund or help resolve any concerns.
