How to Export or Delete Time Doctor Local Data Files on Windows

This guide explains how to locate, export, or delete Time Doctor desktop application's local data on Windows systems. These steps may be required for troubleshooting or when requested by the support team.

 

Export Local Data

If instructed to send your local app data:

  1. Close the Time Doctor desktop application completely.

  2. Navigate to: C:\Users*YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Time Doctor*

  3. Compress the Time Doctor folder into a .zip file.

  4. Send the .zip file to the support team.

Tip: Replace YourUsername with your actual Windows login name.

Delete Local Data

Important: Ensure the Time Doctor app is fully closed before starting.

If instructed to delete local data files:

  1. Open File Explorer (also known as My Computer).

  2. Go to: C:\Users*YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Time Doctor*

  3. Delete the entire Time Doctor folder.

 

Show Hidden Folders (If AppData Is Not Visible)

The AppData folder is hidden by default. To reveal it:

Windows Vista and Windows 7

  1. Open any folder.

  2. Click the Organize dropdown.

  3. Select Folder and search options.

  4. Go to the View tab.

  5. Enable Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

  6. Click OK.

Windows 10

  1. Open any folder.

  2. Click the View tab at the top.
