Does Manual Time Overwrite Existing Time Records?

Yes. Editing or adding manual time can overwrite existing time records in Time Doctor.

Manual edits are necessary in cases such as forgetting to switch tasks or selecting the wrong project. In these scenarios, modify the existing time block by entering a new time log that overlaps or falls within the existing entry.

Upon editing, a warning popup will appear requesting confirmation before saving changes. Once confirmed, the original time is permanently overwritten and cannot be restored.

Note: All manually edited time is visually marked in yellow, while unedited tracked time appears in green.
