Data retention policy in Time Doctor

Tracked time is kept for one year, and screenshots for six months on active servers. Archived data can be restored upon request for a fee.

 

Time Doctor is committed to safeguarding data and performing regular backups to ensure its integrity. Below is the retention policy for different types of data before they are archived or deleted.

 

Tracked Time (Worklogs)

Tracked time is stored on active servers for one year. During this period, access reports via the Dashboard to view or download tracked time data.


Screenshots

Screenshots are stored on active servers for six months. After this, they are transferred to cold storage, where they remain secure until the account is canceled or deletion is requested.

Recommendation: Download screenshots periodically to your local storage for an additional backup.


Retrieving Archived Data

Archived data can be restored upon request. Restoration may incur a fee, which can be discussed with the support team.
