Changing Time Doctor Screenshot Settings

 

TL;DR: 

Update screenshot settings in Time Doctor via Settings / Company Settings for company-wide controls, or Settings / Manage Users for user-specific changes. Admin access is required.


Time Doctor allows control over screenshots to help monitor productivity. Adjust these settings at either the company or user level.


Company-Wide Screenshot Settings

To update screenshot settings across the entire company:

  1. Go to Settings / Company Settings.

  2. On the right-hand panel, configure:

    • Allow deletion of screenshots – Enable or disable users' ability to delete their screenshots.

    • Screenshots interval – Set the screenshot frequency (every 3–30 minutes in 3-minute increments).

 

User-Specific Screenshot Settings

To manage screenshot settings for individual users:

  1. Navigate to Settings / Manage Users.

  2. Locate the user whose settings need updating.

  3. Click on Advanced Settings.

  4. Adjust the following:

    • Screenshots active – Enable or disable screenshots for this user.

    • Screenshots interval – Set a custom interval for this user.

    • Allow managers to view screenshots – Toggle visibility of this user’s screenshots to their manager.

  1. Screenshots active – Toggle screenshots on/off per user or company-wide.

  2. Screenshots interval – Select frequency from 3–30 minutes.

  3. Allow users to delete their own screenshots – Enable/disable for all users.

  4. Allow managers to view screenshots – Restrict or permit visibility to managers.
