Adding Absent or Late reasons in Time Doctor

 

TL;DR:

Add absent or late reasons in advance or after the fact via the Payments / Edit Absent or Late Reasons page. This feature requires a pre-configured daily schedule.

 

The Absent or Late feature in Time Doctor allows users to record their reasons for being absent or late on specific dates. This is useful for managing personal time off such as vacations or sick leave.

Tip: A daily schedule must be created before this feature can be used. The feature will not function if the schedule type is set to Weekly or Monthly minimum without defined start and end times.

 

If no schedule is currently assigned, request an Administrator to create one.

Steps to Add Absent or Late Reasons

  1. Go to Payments / Edit Absent or Late Reasons.

  2. Select the applicable date(s).

  3. Enter the reason for being absent or late.

  4. Future dates can be selected to log upcoming absences in advance.

  5. Click the Save button.
